1. Overview

JL Labour is committed to delivering high-quality, professional labour law services to our clients. As a service-based business, our offerings are tailored, consultative, and time-sensitive, and we work to ensure complete satisfaction within the scope of our expertise.


2. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of legal and labour consultancy services, JL Labour does not offer refunds on any of the following:

  • Consultations already rendered
  • Representation services already undertaken
  • Monthly or annual subscription fees after service commencement
  • Document drafting or policy reviews already delivered

However, in exceptional circumstances—such as a billing error or failure to deliver a paid-for service due to internal fault—clients may be eligible for a partial refund or service credit, subject to review by our management team.

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please submit a request in writing to info@jllabour.co.za within 7 days of the incident, outlining your case in full. All refund decisions are made at the discretion of JL Labour management and will be communicated within 10 business days.


3. Subscription Cancellation & Prorated Refunds

  • Clients on monthly packages may cancel with 30 days’ written notice. Services will continue until the end of the paid period.
  • Clients on annual packages who cancel early are not eligible for refunds on unused months, except in cases where JL Labour is unable to continue providing services.
  • Clients paying annually receive 1 month free as part of their subscription discount.

4. Service Returns or Adjustments

Due to the intangible nature of legal advice and labour representation, no “returns” apply. However, JL Labour stands by the quality of our work, and in cases of dissatisfaction, clients may request

  • A review of legal documentation or advice delivered
  • Clarification or re-issue of a miscommunicated document
  • Additional support (within reason) to ensure proper understanding and use of our services

Such requests must be submitted within 14 days of service delivery.
